K9 Unit Helps End Domestic Violence Standoff in La Mesa October 23, 2025 — La Mesa, Calif. La Mesa Police officers responded to the 3700 block of Jill Lane around 9:00 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports of a domestic violence incident. Neighbors say multiple patrol units arrived with lights and sirens as officers surrounded a residence.
