Aquarium staff spotted an orca in Yaquina Bay of Newport, OR last night. Staff report that the lone animal swam almost 5 miles up Yaquina River before they saw it leaving the bay to head back out to sea. This transient orca was likely on the hunt for seals and sea lions.
