The Bur Oak, sometimes called the Mossycup oak, is an amazing sight in its mature form. This native oak tree has a massive trunk and is sometimes as wide as it is tall. The Bur Oak's coarsely textured crown, wild and wooly acorns, and rough, deeply furrowed bark combine to make a mighty tree.
