Mange is a common skin condition in strays or neglected dogs and puppies. Dogs with severe mange, like Murphy, Ziggy, Judy, and many others, appear beyond hope - hairless, with skin covered in sores or thickened, hard, crusty patches. Some people have commented on our past videos about dogs with mange that it looks like the dog has turned into stone. We officially have Krinkle 🖤 Seeing Krinkle at the shelter was absolutely heartbreaking. We could hear him before we could even see him. Because of his severe mange, he was in isolation, alone in a back room. He was the only kitty back there, crying out so loudly that we could hear him from the front of the shelter 💔 In our experience, these big boys with mange are almost always the most loving and grateful souls we rescue. We were asked out to a farm where a wombat was sleeping in an open shed. When we found him he was curled up in a little ball fast asleep. But he’s not a youngster.. he’s a big boy. Hard to age them when they reach adulthood but judging by his size and scars I would say he’s been around Which begs the question why he is sleeping there with dogs and people around Firstly he has mange.
