In Pedi tradition there is a special dance called Kiba or Dinaka. Many societies who identify themselves as the Bapedi tribe performs this dance as their traditional dance. This is a male only dance that has its origin in the history of the Bapedi military. Originally the dance was performed by warriors when they return from successful hunting, raids or even battles.
