On January 8, 1996 Steve Austin made his WWF debut on an airing Monday Night Raw as “The Ringmaster.” Austin was awarded the Million Dollar Championship by his manager, Ted DiBiase while on the Brother Love Show. The segment was filmed on December 18, 1995 at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, Delaware. Austin had his debut match the following week on the January 15th episode of RAW where he defeated Matt Hardy. Initially, Austin wrestled as “The Ringmaster”, but his full name was acknowledged
