UPDATE: UPC president Jimmy Akena has raised concerns over the alleged disappearance of his and his wife Betty Amongi’s names from the voters’ register. Amongi, who is also the Gender Minister, had transferred her details from Oyam to Lira City to contest for the Woman MP seat currently held by Health Minister Dr Jane Ruth Aceng.
