TYPES OF SYNOVIAL JOINTS: CONDYLOID JOINT ✌️ This is our 4th post in the series of synovial joints. Today is about the Condyloid joint (AKA ellipsoid joint), which includes a convex surface that articulates with a concave elliptical cavity. The biaxial condyloid joints permit all angular motions: Flexion and extension, abduction and adduction, and circumduction.
