“It’s a sense of freedom that I have looked for all my life.” Erick Cedeño, who immigrated to the U.S. from Panama, understands the great lengths individuals throughout history have gone through to seek freedom. So far, he has traveled over 50,000 miles by bike on his journey to retrace routes from the past, including the Underground Railroad and the 1897 expedition of the 25th Infantry Bicycle Corps.
